I have had this issue on both Amnesia games thus far, and strangely enough, the same fix worked both times in my case. Go to the Machine for Pigs folder (C:/Programs 86x/Steam/SteamApps/common/Machine for Pigs) and delete the Launcher.exe. Then, rename the aamfp.exe into Launcher.exe, go to steam and run the game. When it asks if you want to run the game or the settings launcher, run the Settings launcher. The game started up, in my case, after about 30 seconds of a black screen. Hopefully, this helps
