Bioshock is an action-adventure game, with an underlying horror-theme. There is a strong “genetic enhancements” focus through the game. It’s a predominately a “first person” shooter styled game with strong dialogue and well rounded characters to interact with.

Exploring Rapture, an underwater dystopia, your character finds “Plasmids” which are used to biologically modifying their body and turn everything into a weapon. There is hacking, weapon upgrade, craftable ammo, and a multiple approaches to conflict.
